Privacy policy
UK Driving Test Finder is made by BMKs (contact: support@bmks.app). Last updated 19 October 2026.
The app is not affiliated with or endorsed by the DVSA or the UK government.
What we collect and why
- Device id: a random id created on your phone. It links your settings, alerts and membership.
- Driving licence number: needed to see shared dates, and sent with every scan your phone shares.
It lets us trace and stop misuse of the shared data.
- Booking reference (only if you enter it): sent with scans made through your booking, for the same reason.
- Test centres you watch, your booked centre and test date: to choose which new slots to alert you about.
- Available dates your phone reads from the DVSA booking site: shared with other users of the app.
- Push notification token: to send alerts (Apple Push Notification service on iPhone, Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android).
- IP address and app version: logged with scans and lookups to limit abuse.
- Membership status: purchases are handled by Apple or Google and RevenueCat. We see whether your membership is active and when it ends, never your payment details.
Helping other users
On Android, "Help other users" is on unless you turn it off. While it is on, your phone also checks up to two
extra test centres that other users are waiting for after checking yours, using the same DVSA session. In return
you get an hourly alert about new slots at your centres. You can turn it off in User details at any time.
How long we keep it
- Scans and lookups: 30 days.
- New-slot records: 2 days.
- Device settings: until 180 days after the app was last used.
Who we share it with
Dates and centres are shown to other users. Licence numbers, booking references and IP addresses are never shown to anyone.
Service providers: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Apple and Google (notifications, purchases), RevenueCat (membership).
We do not sell data or use it for advertising.

Under UK GDPR you can ask for a copy of your data, or for it to be corrected or deleted. Email support@bmks.app with
